Admission Policy Overview

Lionheart Classical Academy (“LCA”) is an open enrollment, tuition-free public charter school and is committed to our mission of training minds and inspiring hearts. Admission to the school shall be open to any student who resides in the State of New Hampshire. Methods of admission shall not be designed, intended, or used to discriminate or violate individual rights in any manner prohibited by law.

Admission Process

• Prospective parents/guardians are required to attend at least one informational meeting in order for registrations to be complete.
• Should applicants exceed the number of spaces available, a blind lottery will be held. Those not accepted in the lottery will be placed on a waiting list in theorder determined by the lottery.
• All students registered for the lottery will receive notification of enrollment or waitlist placement via email within 5-7 days of the lottery.
• All registrations that were incomplete or were submitted after the deadline will be placed on the waitlist in the order they were received.

Enrollment Provisions

• LCA will offer automatic re-enrollment to its students at the end of each year.
• Students are enrolled with the following priority-

  1. Staff member’s children (up to 15 spots)
  2. Siblings of currently enrolled students (with completed registration)
  3. Board member’s children
  4. General public

Should registrations by any of the above-mentioned categories exceed spots available a category specific lottery will be held in the order above.

Lottery Registration

Registration is now open for Lionheart’s 2026-2027 enrollment lottery!

Registration is for new students only

(this includes siblings of current students)

Complete Registration Form – by March 8th, 2026 at 11:59pm*

Please complete a registration form for each child you wish to enter in the lottery. Once eligibility and info session attendance has been confirmed, your student will be placed in the lottery.

  • To be eligible, a student must:
  • Turn 5 years old no later than September 30th, 2026
  • Reside in NH

*All registrations that are incomplete or are submitted after the deadline will be placed on the waitlist following the lottery.

Attend an Information Session

If you are registering a student who is new to Lionheart (does not have a sibling enrolled), a parent/guardian is required to attend an information session to complete registration. If you have previously attended an information session, please email Leah Seymour, lseymour@lionheartclassical.org, to confirm. See below for more information.

Receive Lottery Number

All completed registrations will be assigned a number for the lottery. Lottery numbers will be sent to the email address(es) provided on the registration form between March 9th – March 12th.

Lottery Information

The lottery will be held publicly on March 14th, 2026. Attendance is welcome, but not required for enrollment. A zoom link will be provided for people to attend virtually.

All students registered for the lottery will receive notification of enrollment or waitlist placement within 5-7 days of the lottery. If your student is offered enrollment, you will be provided paperwork to complete by a specified date to secure their spot.

Parent Information Sessions

Lionheart requires that a parent or guardian attend an information session to complete registration.

Lionheart is a school of choice, and our approach may not be the right fit for every family. These sessions ensure that parents fully understand our curriculum, values, and expectations so they can make an informed decision.

The following sessions are scheduled for 2026

  • Saturday, January 24th – 9:30-10:30am
  • Saturday, February 21st – 9:30-10:30am
  • Wednesday, March 4th – 5:30-6:30pm
